Agree timings - pick up and drop off
We use CANAL PLAN to create a detailed and accurate schematic of your boat's journey and calculate your price. We will call you back the same day we receive your enquiry and send your detailed custom quote ready for you to agree timings and pick up / drop off points.
We charge a simple affordable rates for narrowboats, widebeams and Dutch Barges . Plus the usual pre-arranged diesel and basic travel expenses for me to pick up your boat and return to base. We pre book tunnels where necessary with CRT in advance where required, as well as arranging transit passes for the Thames etc for you as required.

Completing your order and making payment
When you are happy with your timings and and price, we will send you your Paypal invoice by email. Simply make payment by Card / Paypal, (or if you prefer by Cheque, or Cash - whichever method suits you best) to confirm your boat move.

Post keys and directions (or arrange to meet at your boat)
We will call you to arrange to receive your keys either by post or in person (usually clients prefer to arrange to meet at your boat or leave keys with a marina office on day of departure). We ask that you provide us with enough diesel (or funds for diesel if you require fuelling to be done by us for the trip - usual method).

Boat securely berthed, keys returned by post, or in person
On the morning of the last day of the trip, we will call you with an ETA for your boat's arrival at your chosen destination (marina, visitor mooring etc) we will call you to confirm arrival and arrange return of your keys ready for you to use your boat.
Your boat will be securely moored and locked and ready for use in a safe and secure location (please let us know if you need assistance arranging a marina berth in advance).
Terms and Conditions:
Please ensure that before you engage our services you have all the correct licenses and insurances to cover your boat for any eventuality when being driven by a 3rd party driver. By engaging our services you agree to this. NBS also recommends that you arrange breakdown insurance for your boat also.
