On delivering our boat he took the time to give a full handover of the positives and problems he had discovered during his travel and even rang us after he had got home to check everything was ok andthat we knew everything we needed to about using the boat.

I used Narrowboat Skipper to move my boat at the end of November from Yorkshire down to Manchester. I was a little nervous about letting a stranger move the boat, but Mike from Narrowboat Skipper did an excellent job.
A schedule was provided prior to the trip with estimates of where he expected to be each evening. He gave regular updates on the way and managed to deliver to boat ahead of schedule.
The boat is quite old and I only purchased it few months ago, so there were a few teething problems with it. However Narrowboat Skipper just dealt with the issues as they arrived and delivered the boat on time.
Was I happy with the service? Yes, very. Would I recommend him? Yes!
